This year Maasai Women’s Art is celebrating an important and amazing achievement.

To . Our journey began in 2006 when the Maasai Women of Mkuru formed a group of 89  female only members.  We have now expanded to almost 200 female members.

We continue to work towards empowering women and their community through their traditional knowledge and skills.

Maasai Women Art is not just jewellery!

We have recently had our first meeting with the Mwenyekiti of Mkuru and Dr. Gideon Orio to introduce a Health Training Program for the Maasai women. The program will be carried on for the next couple of years thanks to ‘Unite The World For Africa Foundation’
